Aliaksandra Valitskaya

I was born and raised in Belarus (Eastern Europe), also home to Grand Slam and Gold Medal winning tennis player Victoria Azarenka. After moving to the United States, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Eastern Michigan University and was then awarded an Honors Scholarship at Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While in law school, I received a variety of honors including being named to the Dean’s List and Honor Roll, as well as several Certificate of Merit Awards for outstanding academic achievements. I graduated in 2013 Magna Cum Laude, and I am licensed to practice law in California, Colorado, Illinois, and Michigan.

I began to focus my efforts on consumer protection while working as a legal assistant for 5 years before becoming an attorney. I enjoy the sense of satisfaction I get when helping people solve their legal problems and resolve their disputes.

Outside of the office, I’m a big hockey fan—Let’s Go, Red Wings! At home, I’ve got a pet Maltese—a small dog with a huge personality. And my first car was a Ford Contour—a true Lemon!
